Ústav mezinárodních vztahů ve spolupráci s Ministerstvem zahraničních věcí České republiky a Institutem pro humanitní vědy (Institut für die Wissenschaften vom Menschen) uspořádali 21.11.2018 slavnostní přednášku: „Národní státy a Evropa, 1918 a 2018“ s Timothy Snyderem, profesorem historie na Yale university a spolupracovníkem Institutu pro humanitní vědy. Profesor Snyder se zaměřil na otázku národního státu v Evropě a nyní je dostupný kompletní český překlad jeho přednášky.
